Reponse to ‘Al Qaeda is bankrupt’ thesis

This summer, Clingendael’s magazine featured an article which responded to my earlier piece. The authors claim that Al Qaeda is not bankrupt (yet?) as they still have the resources to capitalise on social injustice and mobilize their constituents.

I disagree – Al Qaeda, at least in the Middle East, US and Europe, are over/finito/extinct.
